from what i have found, its 18 in most states. You should sit down and talk to them and try to make things a bit easier. or there is another way but you will need the permission of your parents, but try to work things out, but some cases you have to go to the court house and present the judge with your case, and if its something like neglect the judge will most likely be on your side then you would have to find another relative or if you wish, ik a friend that moved out at 17 and he had to prove that he could live on his own by going to school, keeping good grades and on top of that pay rent and keep a job.
References :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emancipation_of_minors and http://www.tellinitlikeitis.net/2009/05/how-to-divorce-your-parents-minors-emancipation-can-you-divorce-your-parents.html also http://www.ronitbaras.com/index.php/focus-on-the-family/parenting-family/divorcing-your-parents-poll/

You got two choices:

*call CPS (from school or a friend's house) and tell them a convicted sex offender is living in your home and tormenting you on a regular basis. That may be a violation of his terms of release.

*File for legal emancipation from your parents.

Hope this helps. God bless, kid.
References :
http://www.michiganlegalaid.org/library_client/resource.2006-03-07.2109843506/html_view

It's called emancipation. You or a lawyer can file a petition for emancipation . You are old enough, I would do some research if I were you the emancipation of a minor is a long process.
References :
Please HELP! How do I divorce my parents?
currently live with both my parents. My dad was released from prison in the year 2006, he immediately moved in with my mom and I. He was a complete stranger. He was in prison my entire life convicted of rape. Upon moving in with my mom and I my life was turned upside down. I didn't welcome him with open arms so he has decided to make my life a living hell. He has manipulated my mom and so anything he says goes. I am a 4.0 student. I am a prisoner in my own home: I have no bedroom door or furniture, my food is postponed, no phone privileges, no TV, no friend privileges, I am yelled and cursed at A LOT. I dread my life. I have family members who are willing to have me come stay with them, but my parents are COMPLETELY against it. I am 15, I will be 16 later this year. Am I old enough in the state of Michigan to choose to go stay with a different family member of MY choice? How? Pleeeezzzzeeeeee help me I am hopeless!!!!!!!
