Life is hell, we dont get along at all and we’ve been married for only a month and a few days. How fast can I get divorced in NY so I can move on with my life?

we’ve been together for a year and a half prior to the wedding. we used to fight as couples do before engagement… we fought a bit more after that. I thought after getting married things would be better, once we’d be together more…

Sometimes we love each other, sometimes hate is not even close to what we feel… we r not living together anymore, we talk though.
We both agree it was a mistake, but he scares me a bit, I just want to get it over with as soon as I can.
I heard of a couple who got divorced in a month. Is it really possible?
You can only get an annulment if you meet the grounds for it. Short-term marriage is not grounds for annulment.
In New York, unless you have ‘fault’ grounds for divorce (ie adultery, cruel treatment, etc) I believe you have to be separated for a year before you can get divorced.
Next time, think a little longer before you say "I do”
